Joint safety drill at IPM-IMG Marine Group facilities in Ibiza

<div>On 3 June, the yearly fire drill was held for staff from Marina Ibiza, Marina Port Ibiza and Varadero Ibiza, all of which belong to the IPM-IMG Group. The session was led by Jos&eacute; Luis Fayos from Global Management, the company tasked with providing the training.</div><div><br /></div><div>The session kicked off with a theoretical part to review fire response procedures, going over key aspects such as early detection, evacuation protocols and coordination with the emergency services.</div><div><br /></div><div>The teams then headed out to the berths and the hardstanding at Marina Ibiza to carry out the practical part, which included the handling of fire extinguishers and motor pumps.</div><div><br /></div><div>This was followed by a realistic fire drill, first at Marina Port Ibiza, then at Varadero Ibiza and ending with the Marina Ibiza team, recreating a fire situation and applying the protocols laid down at each facility. To round off the day, the teams performed a joint assessment of the activity.</div><div><br /></div><div>These types of initiatives underline the IPM-IMG Group&#39;s commitment to safety, the continuous training of its teams and the constant improvement of its operating procedures.</div><div><br /></div><div>&quot;These drills mean that we&#39;re ready to respond quickly and efficiently in any emergency, while also bolstering teamwork between the different facilities of the group&quot;, said Javier Cid, Harbourmaster at Marina Ibiza.</div><div><br /></div>
